Created by Vancouver Film School Student Ricardo Torres through the Digital Design program, Dash is an interactive typography guide created for iPad deployment. It's a touch sensitive learning tool for people beginning to explore the basics of type. It includes information and exercises that will increase the user's knowledge and understanding of how to use type as an effective visual communication tool.

We don't offer Masters programs. In the 3D Animation & Visual Effects program at VFS, you graduate with a Diploma. If you'd like more information, you can contact an Advisor here: vfs(dot)com/speak-to-advisor

Dash was Ricardo's graduate project in the Digital Design program. He built this interactive tool with the objective of using modern technology to educate users on the undervalued art of working with type. The app has four sections: the elements of type, using type, how to choose a font, and a list of type foundries.
